Carver Cascade  Water Heater Fusible Plug  Safety Device

Replacement fusible plug for the Carver Cascade water heater.

If the burner module fails and doesn't shut off when the water gets to a set temperature, the fusible plug is there as a safety device to reduce the risk of overheating. The centre of the fusible plug melts which allows water to pour out of the water heater and extinguish the gas flame
