All our caravans are sold with a current 4 year NZ electrical certificate.
Our imported caravans are converted by a qualified Caravan Electrician. This means all the plugs will be changed to NZ standard plugs and the caravans fitted with an RCD , they are then inspected and then certified with a sticker that is valid for 4 years.
A current electrical Warrant of Fitness is a requirement of law in New Zealand if the caravan is to be connected to the 230 volt supply system.
A warrant can only be issued by a Registered Electrical Inspector, and because their signature and registration number are on the form, they will not issue it unless all testing is complete and up to standard.
Any electrical work carried out by the Owner after the caravan has been certified then requires the caravan to be rechecked and recertified.
If you electrical warrant is out of date then your insurer will may pay out should anything happen to your caravan. If you have a UK, British European NZ or any other type of caravan and require electrical conversion, wiring change or plugs added etc we can happily point you in the right direction
