Terms & Conditions of Sale

• We will supply goods and services to you, on these terms only, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• We may however, amend these terms from time to time.
• We are under no obligation to accept all or any of your orders.
• Your orders must be purchased via this website.
• We do not supply our goods on an “approval” basis.
• The name that will appear on your bank statement will be Affordable Caravans.

• All online Credit Card transactions are processed immediately with Bank. The payment page is hosted by Payment Express and secured with 256 bit encryption. The card details you enter are safe because it is not stored or cached by the merchant but entered directly into the banking system. You will receive an instant confirmation of transaction approval or decline before being returned to this merchant web site.
• The name that will appear on your statement will be Affordable Caravans.
• Your card will be charged in New Zealand Dollars.

When purchasing parts from us we take your security seriously:

• All secure pages on this website are encrypted with SHA-256 SSL.
• Your password is encrypted SHA2 with SALT to ensure the utmost protection from hacking.

Delivery will be made to the delivery address shown on your order form or submitted via online orders.

All parcels are sent by courier and are track and traceable.  Please select if you are North Island or South Island shipping.  We are unable to refund any additional charges due to selecting the incorrect shipping method.  

We allow 2-4 working days for standard delivery, additional 1-3 days for rural delivery . Delivery can be made to Street address, business address and rural deliveries. No PO box deliveries. 


 PLEASE SELECT RURAL SHIPPING (not standard ) IF YOUR ADDRESS IS RURAL. Failure to select the rural shipping order will result in a delay of your order until the $6 rural charge is paid for.


You must accept goods as soon as you receive them, even if goods are not what you ordered. You must advise us within 3 days if they are not what you ordered, or of any damaged freight.

We do not deliver internationally.

• We warrant that all goods supplied are free from defects.  Secondhand goods will be as described.
• All other guarantees, warranties and representations in relation to the goods or their supply are excluded except to the extent that we cannot lawfully exclude them.
• Goods advertised by reference to pictures might not be identical to the pictures when sold.

We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss incurred by you as the result of any act or omission by us. We will not be liable to you:

• For failure to deliver, or failure to deliver by a specified date, or
• For loss caused by anything which is beyond our reasonable control

Our liability to you is otherwise limited to the value of the goods and/or services supplied by us and associated with your claim.We may, at our option and as appropriate, either:

• Replace defective goods, or
• Pay you the price (excluding GST) you paid us for the goods and/or services

We will not however accept responsibility for any defective goods unless:

• You notify us of the defect within 5 days of your receiving the goods, and
• You allow us to fully investigate your claim
• This clause will not apply to the extent that the law prohibits us from limiting our liability.

We will not accept cancellation of an order unless:

• the goods are part of our current stock and we receive written notice of cancellation before the goods are loaded for delivery; or
• if the goods are an item/items we are specifically ordering in, we receive written notice of cancellation before we order the goods ourselves from a third party.

• If we delay or do not exercise any of our rights or remedies that will not be a waiver of the right or remedy.
• Any waiver or consent we give you must be in writing and will be effective only in the specific instance and for the specific purpose for which it is given.

If part of this Agreement is deemed to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These terms will be governed by New Zealand law and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.

If a dispute arises between both of us:

• Both of us must first discuss the dispute and, in good faith, try and settle it between ourselves, and
• If both of us cannot resolve the dispute both of us must then refer it to mediation by a LEADR qualified person before taking any other action.

Affordable Caravans is committed to providing you with quality products.

If you are not completely satisfied with any product we will accept returns only if the condition of the item is, as it was when sold .

Exchanges will be processed after quality control has been carried out.
Refunds will be processed after a quality control has been carried out.
Items that have been cut to order can only be returned at our discretion and will incur a 20% restocking fee.
Any items returned not in original condition/packaging, can only be returned at our discretion and a restocking fee advised before a refund is issued.

There are no refunds on items that we have ordered in specifically for a customer.
On incorrectly ordered items the post  and packing is non-refundable and the return is at your cost
We need to be notified of any  item  item damaged by the courier within 3 days.
Please check you item on delivery as we ourselves cannot claim if there is a delay.

There are no returns on electrical/gas items that have been fitted.
For a warranty on gas or electrical parts we do require proof that a registered ,certified electrician has done the installation.

No refunds will be issued on items that have been used or fitted.

Faulty parts will be required to be sent back to Affordable Caravans for assessment.  If parts are found to be faulty, Affordable Caravans will cover the cost of return.  Items found not to be faulty will have the freight charge paid in full by the customer.
